note for everyone waiting for UT2003-2004 support - it figures that it's already supported (on Internet) in all versions Smiley just specify correct port (7787 default for query). we will add UT2k3/4 as a separate game and enable LAN detection for it in the next release anyway.

Minion, about RA2 - can add LAN detection but we don't have the game anywhere; and it's a bit too old, isn't it? Smiley If you know where it's query protocol is published, let us know so we will add it without purchasing. We'll also need your email to test if it works then.

Is there any chance you could add tiger woods 2000 as it's now on the budget label sold-out software but the server is about to shut down  Sad

You got it wrong - aGSM is not a game server, but a game server monitor. Feel the difference - the tool doesn't host, provide, or emulate game servers. It monitors them and lets you join the fun - who's playing, where, etc. Sorry Sad

I'm very surprised that Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory is mentioned by only one person, I thought it would be more popular than that.
For those that don't know it is a free multiplayer only (no single player missions or bots) game for Windows and Linux based on Return to Castle Wolfenstein available at
http://www.splashdamage.com/modules.php?op...wdownload&cid=7

aGSM supports Quake III / Return to Castle Wolfenstein so i hope this game isn't hard to add as it is based on the same engine.

My vote goes to ET. Smiley

Off topic but also check out Legends (free Tribes2 like game based on the same engine)
http://hosted.tribalwar.com/legends/
Not very many internet players because i don't think many people know about it, aGSM support is not really worth it at the moment.
Cool if a bunch of you have LAN battles or hit an internet server together though. Smiley

New multiplayer games to add to aGSM?
« Reply #42 on: June 02, 2004, 08:54:31 PM »

I've been playing Descent 3 online for years, and recently the servers for PXO (Descent 3's battlenet-like internal game browser) were shut down.  I noticed that aGSM supports Descent 3 for LAN games, but what about internet games?  People still play it every day. =)

I can get a game list on Gamespy but they have half-assed support.  If you guys need any help supporting Descent 3 for internet games, let me know!  I know a lot of people would appreciate it.

if you can provide us with the server querying code for Descent3 Internet and a couple of server ips to test, plus game icon & latest version number, we'll add support and you will test it for us. if you can help, email at authors(a)agsm.net or post here.

it's supported already, use port 7787. it'll be added to the list in next release; still uncertain whether to separate Unreal/UT and UT2k3/2k4 or make all these games separate...
